General Description

The wildland fire skid unit, designed for installation in a pickup truck bed and intended for wildland fire suppression and interface response operations.

Water Tank

• Capacity: 200 gallons

• Construction: Aluminum baffled and vented tank

• Level Indication: Sight glass

• Fill Ports:

  • One (1) top fill port

  • One (1) fill port with 2.5" BAT connection and valve

• Drain: One (1) drain port with valve and hose extending to the rear of the truck bed

Pump and Engine

• Pump: Cat Ultra-high-pressure pump rated at 1,450 PSI, capable of delivering 10 GPM

• Engine:

  • Honda engine, 13 HP electric start

Hose Reel and Nozzle

• Hose Reel: Electric rewind Hannay hose reel

• Hose: 200 ft of ½-inch high-pressure hose

• Nozzle: Cat Dual Strike Nozzle

Foam System

• Foam Tank Capacity: 2.5 gallons

• Foam System: Class A foam delivery system capable of adjustable concentrations from 0.5% to 6.0%
